Responsibilities of a Citizen for a clean India.

Here are a few healthy suggestions. Please do follow or pass it to the concerned authority which/ who could really make it happen.

1. There should be a rule for every street food vendor as well as shopkeepers keeping food items. There must be a dustbin in front of their vending area else their license should be canceled or a fine amount shall be charged by the municipality.

2. The dustbins and their color codes are mostly unknown to common people. So it is needed to be written over the bin, the type of waste to dispose of it.

As per the pollution board of India, there are certain color codes and they are as follows:

Green Bin: The green colored bin is used to dump biodegradable waste. This bin could be used to dispose off wet/organic material including cooked food/leftover food, vegetable/fruit peels, eggshell, rotten eggs, chicken/fish bones, tea bags/coffee grinds, coconut shells and garden waste including fallen leaves/twigs or the puja flowers/garlands will all go into the green bin.

Blue bin: The blue colored bin is used for segregating dry or recyclable left over. This category includes waste like plastic covers, bottles, boxes, cups, toffee wrappers, soap or chocolate wrapper and paper waste including magazines, newspapers, tetra packs, cardboard cartons, pizza boxes or paper cups/plates will have to be thrown into the white bin. Metallic items like tins/ can foil paper and containers and even the dry waste including cosmetics, hair, rubber/thermocol/polystyrene), old mops/dusters/sponges.

Black bin: Black bin, make up for the third category, which is used for domestic hazardous waste like sanitary napkins, diapers, blades, bandages, CFL, tube light, printer cartridges, broken thermometer, batteries, button cells, expired medicine etc.

3. The gutkha and cigarette vending zones must have dustbins and should insist consumers to use them.

4. Apartments and flats are better in waste management but they put all the wastes outside their premises. Each apartment must have common large bins which should be emptied by Municipal waste carrying trucks daily or time to time.

5. The other localities with single or independent houses must know the benefits of waste management and awareness campaigns must be held by govt. time to time to encourage the use of bins and proper disposal.

6. We must know the difference between different types of wastes and how to use them. Wet and degradable trash like vegetable wastes, waste food materials etc.can be dug in a pothole to make manure. Proper procedure must be made aware to all the citizens so that they could get benefits.

7. Recycle, reuse and replenish. Innovative waste management plans like reusing shredded plastics to make roads, bottles to make the overhead canopy for pedestrian etc. can be implemented in the localities.

8. Each block or locality should have a waste management team, which will encourage the whole locality to apply these rules by awarding and awarding the localities.

Few more suggestions for every individual

1. Install 2 dustbins in your home. One for organic wastes and the other for inorganic waste.

2. Make a small garden on your terrace, balcony, side skirts of your house and use the organic wastes as a manure there.

3. Use less papers, use the word, excel, PowerPoint, sticky notes etc.as replacements.

4. Drive less and when needed in your gasoline or diesel vehicles. Use cycles or electric bikes and for distance in between, 1 to 2 km go for a walk. Walk to get your grocery, walk to get your stationeries.

5. Don't spit outside in a plane area, spit near the shoots n roots of a tree. Chewing tobacco is bad and will harm you personally but spitting it anywhere will harm the environment and other people too. Mostly people who can't get their ass up to find a place to throw tobacco, spoit it at corners of public bulidings and heritages which is a crime too. Be careful with that.

6. Take cloth bags or cotton fiber bags to get your groceries and avoid plastic bags as much as you can.

7. Dispose of plastics to dustbins only. If you don't find one, hold it until you find one. Check whether the dustbin where you are disposing the plastic is the right one. You can do that by checking its color codes.

8. Don't defecate in open areas, use a toilet. In cities, there are numerous defecating centers placed by Govts. Use them. Find the nearest public toilets in google maps with your smartphones and do make it a habit when you visit some other place.

9. If you are going for any construction work, then disperse the sands and gravels in a bounded area. Cover the area with jute sacks so that the dust can't get mixed up with the surrounding air. If possible make the sacks wet by sprinkling water on them that will keep the sack intact and no specks of dust will be out.

10. Reduce using high decibel modified silencers, people around get irritated not fascinated. If you really want to show your presence then use stock silencers under the restricted decibel. 80 decibel is the maximum noise limit for motorcycles and scooters but modified silencers go up to 130, so please check it.

11. Do pollution check of your vehicles from time to time. If you find any black or grey emission of smoke please take it to a garage for repair.

I would request the Municipal corps., environmentalists and other eminent person related to taking strict actions because of its the need of the hour.

Don't count others' dollars, count your rupees.

Since today's world grasp the money language more efficiently, this is the best way to make you understand something mentioned below.
Don't compare your life with other's, it's not the right way. Life is wholesome of your deeds, your time you spent, your emotions you endured so when it comes to comparison then why compare it with others?

If you really want to compare something, then compare your deeds, your investments, your finances, the people you gathered with respect to your time. Compare your today's with your yesterday's and not of others or with others.

I see a few ads in which some websites help you to check your credit scores for free, i.e. your financial credit score. What it does is, it checks your payment history, current debt, length of credit and types of credit. All these are fed to a computer program with sets of algorithms to generate a score which helps you to get loans for future. While designing this program, the designers and developers might have thought something very basic but its vitality subdues invaluable teachings of life. The program is so written that it only compare your debt with your credits. It doesn't compare your transaction with others. If it would have been so then just imagine collating your credits with credits of Bill Gates. Your score would have been so minuscule that no banks would have ever given you a single penny.

If we take examples of banks, then the credit card they provide is their credits of tomorrow loaned to the consumer. The credit card is literally apt through the point of view of the banks but as far as we the consumers are concerned, it should be called a loan card. It's a subtle business strategy and advertisement secret laid by the banks to name it so. Since we find the word "credit" a positive word psychologically, we run and toil hard to get the card in our wallets but when we get the real meaning things get quite clear. Likewise, debit cards are the real credit cards for us and concurrently a debt from us to the bank. So, each one of us must have a debit card, whereas credit cards are the cards of risks we should take only if we like risky tasks.

Similarly, the life you are living is fully yours, other lives are there to experience it as like you are experiencing others'. The people who always contrast their lives with respect to others can't really find a purposeful and fulfilling life for themselves. What you are doing today should have a greater value than your actions of yesterday and what you are going to do tomorrow should have a greater value than your actions of today.

As a matter of fact, every one of us has got one life, not more than one at least with this body so why to live it meaninglessly and spoil such valuable time we are graced with. Let us utilize it the best way possible.

Prayagraj restored or Allahabad renamed?

It is very funny to hear that Indian history is often called Indian mythology. Mythology is a word derived from the word myth which means a widely held false belief typically involving supernatural beings or events as per the Wikipedia. In the wiki, it has been also described as "a fictitious or imaginary person" or an exaggerated conception of a person or thing. In the Oxford dictionary, mythology is defined as a collection of myths or a set of fictitious stories. As per Merriam Webster, mythology means " a usually traditional story of ostensibly ( meaning: intended for display/ plausible than demonstrably true or real) historical events that serve to unfold part of the world view of a person or explain a practice, belief or natural phenomena.

It is a request to the people around who are historians or keep good interest in history can research by themselves on the Indian history and stop calling it as Indian mythology.

The field of media often plays with exaggeration of topics, news or any information they get. There are few channels in Indian media which can be pronounced as "mythical channels". We, viewers, have better identified them and don't take them seriously. It is because what they portray in our screens lacks evidence, logic, and interpretation.

In India, as per archaeological findings, extensive research and astronomical data there are sufficient shreds of evidence to prove that the Vedic era existed. It is a shame that the western obstinate views are invariably influencing the Indian point of view in today's world. It is because of successive invasion by different leaders in India, there is such distortion in representing our own History.

We better know that Sanskrit is the basis of all languages throughout India ( not using the word world which might bring more controversies). And almost all the words we are communicating today is in some way related to Sanskrit which proves its impactful existence and spread.

"Prayag" / "प्रयाग" is a Sanskrit word which literally means a place of confluence or conflux, a meeting place, a junction of two rivers. It also means "a place of offerings" not a "place of sacrifice". In English sacrifice is a negative word which means religious offerings in terms of killing an animal, an act of slaughtering an animal or person, immolation. Whereas offering is totally different and can be related to a positive approach in terms of improving and developing life, not killing it. "Sangam" is Sanskrit synonym of Prayag.

"Yagya"/ "यज्ञ " is a Sanskrit word which means offering, a ritual or ceremony, a place of celebration, gathering, and amalgamation. A moment where we remember the Gods or God-like figures recognize their good works (hymns and chants), accept it and choose to follow their steps to become like them, an occasion of oblation in front of the light ( Fire).

So, near the Sangam of rivers: Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati many Yagyas were made. Brahma, (a God or Godlike, let's consider him a prehistoric man) performed his first Yagya called Prakrista  Yagya. Prakrista means creation, creation in the sense of his first creation, his first creation to a new ideology of sensitivity towards the creation of the world or universe.

Coming to the topic, Prayag is related to Ganga, Yamuna Sangam from the very first of its description in scriptures and other forms of records. There are mentions in Vedas and Puranas where Prayag is referred to that place of Sangam.

Vedas mentioned the Prakrista Yagya of Brahma in Prayag. Later in Puranas, Yayati, the descendant of Brahma is related in mentions of Prayag as a great place. There is a mention of Rishi Bharadwaja and his ashram at Prayag in Ramayan during Tretaya Yuga. Rama, the protagonist of Ramayana and the King of Ayodhya visited the ashram while proceeding to the Chitrakoot mountain in the Vindhya range of mountains.

Kaushambi was founded by Kusamba the son of Chedi King Kusa as depicted in Ramayana and followed by Mahabharata. It was founded years after the first Vedic ages at the Gangetic valley. However, another finding says, after the destruction of Hastinapur, the Kuru king Nichasku established the town later became the most important town of that era. Still, if we compare it to the origins of Prayag then Prayag predates it by centuries.

Later after being controlled by the succession of empires and dynasties like Mauryas, Guptas, and Marathas, it fell under Delhi Sultanate when it was conquered by Mohammad Ghori in 1193. When Mughals took over the capital Delhi, the city Prayag, mispronounced as Piyag acclaimed its prominence due to its greatness in terms of public value, importance, and strategic geographical position. So, a fort was constructed between 1574 to 1583 and during Akbar's visit in 1575, the city of mispronounced Piyag was renamed as Illahabas, the city where Allah resides or "Abode of God" as termed by Britishers laterwards. It was one of the 12 pre-eminent provinces or Subahs. During the regime of Shahjahan, due to the popularity of Islam and often misinterpreted by the people as Allahabas, Akbar changed it to Allahabad around 1585.

This was all about the Indian history of Prayag being changed to Allahabad. Thankfully, the Britishers didn't change its name to Albad or something else.

In 16th October 2018 after 443 years the name Prayagraj was restored ahead of the Kumbh Mela held every year at the Sangam. The raj was placed aptly by the naming committee as the place is also called as Tirtha-raj in Vedic scriptures so combinedly Prayagraj was a restoration successful mission.

Can we see the future?

If somebody asks me a question similar to that sort, then I would say with the current technology, yes.
But with the yes I would like to say, we would be needing a very delicate and accurate application or software to input such a big amount of information, process it and give the accurate output.

Nowadays there are applications which can predict the weather, the planetary locations, the traffic jams, the destructive earthquakes, and even the deadly Tsunami. But these are focused to a specialized algorithm and are set to determine a single type of issue occurring or going to occur in the coming future. We just need to build such an application which can create a simulated universe within itself taking in the past and real-time data to predict the future.

We know that satellites are present at different orbits constantly giving gigs of inputs to the crust civilization for research and development, maintenance of different systems, real-time information, updates and up-gradation to different apps and software etc. We also know that the Internet of Things IoT is a hot buzz in the current timeline. But all these current technologies with a few more modifications can be one day used to make such a medium which can predict the coming future.

With an ideal model, there are always errors circling which inhibit any system to achieve its idealistic state. Hence, there is nothing present which is 100% ideal. The ideal model is just an assumption with a few constants and variables. If at all we make the device or application which can predict the future, it will not be able to predict the 100% exact occurrence of the prediction in the real-time. Rather it may have an efficiency of certain percentage depending on the amount of input it is injected to.

Generally, with the power of approximation, our mind can process the past and real-time data to approximately predict the future. That is most often called intuition. The psychologists are going crazy to find the link between our mind and our actions which may give us a clue to deduce the codes to know the future. Our actions are due to the combination of the chemical reactions going in our mind. Our environment, diet, past actions, nearby interactions, climate all of it directly or indirectly contribute their bits. All these bits of information determines our mood and mode of action which is going to happen in the future time.

Neural links are something in the talks and are a very hot topic nowadays. Thus, more information from the neural links can be inserted to increase the efficiency to a higher level. Real-time assessment of our body can provide a much precise and accurate outcome of our future.

People in the financial, stockbroking business are already predicting the ups and downs in the stocks of the future. The stockbrokers have decoded certain trends, gathered many parameters, derived many formulas which can see the stocks of tomorrow. Asper their quotes, they have developed certain programs or software whatever you may call it which claims to predict a 90% accurate future of stocks of tomorrow. That's mind-boggling for us to know, and the people who do it earn in millions and billions. Certainly, something in this seeing the future business is guaranteed, i.e. a whole lot of credits in terms of money.

The basic design of the program/software/application can be set up following all the above algorithms. More and more precise input will have to be extracted to get the best output of the future. The only thing we should worry about is its application. On good hands, the usability will be for the good of the world and on bad hands, the earth might face its doomsday soon. To be continued...
